Artist's Comments

A crop of a shot taken with a 300mm lens with x2 convertors attatched.
Just as the first rays of sun breached the foggy crust drifting over the landscape. Some varying side light made it quite surreal to watch unfold.
A bit noisey but it kind of adds to the effect.
In the direction of Frome, Somerset Levels, Somerset.

Shots like this sadly always seem to get unseen, and this one shouldn't be as it is exceptional

nice levels, bit dark in bottom right corner.

Sun was rising 90 to the left & at 300mmx2 some vignetting was apparent. Tried keep it as real as I witnessed it. Single shot expo & very minimal processing. Only noise reduced & some colour correction to horizon.
I want a canon f4 300mm fixed lens.... It makes it look like your using a rocket launcher to take pics!!

I'd love to see a sight like this in person one day. Stunning, Mark.
